The Steve Irwin to depart for Antarctica

After several months docked in Brisbane to complete preparations for this year's campaign, the Steve Irwin is scheduled to depart for the Antarctic Whale Sanctuary on Thursday, 4th December at 0700 hours Brisbane, QLD time. Supporters in the Brisbane area are welcome to go to the Rivergate Marina to watch the ship as it passes by on its way out to sea from the Brisbane River. More details are as follows:
What: Send-off for Sea Shepherd Conservation Society's ship to the Antarctic Whale Sanctuary Where: Rivergate Marina, Brisbane Address: 7 Rivergate Place, Murarrie QLD 4172 When: Thursday, 4 December 2008, Ship Departure scheduled for 0700 hours Brisbane, QLD time, the ship should pass by the marina just moments after departure |
